5 Things to Wear for Your Bridal Boudoir Photoshoot
As all brides-to-be probably know, there are soo many details when it comes to styling, wardrobe, accessories and so on – and that stays the same when it comes to your photoshoot!
To ease the worry and calm the concern of all the overwhelm, we’ve narrowed down 5 of our favorite things to wear for your bridal boudoir photo session!
1. White Lacy Lingerie
These are perfect go-to's for a multitude of reasons! This style offers an air of innocence and grace that makes for stunning, captivating images, showcasing your inner and outer beauty all in one! Bodysuits are perfect for flattering all the desired places and accentuating your best features. We have an array of white and ivory bodysuits to choose from.
And, while we don’t carry lingerie 2- piece sets in the studio (since it’s more catered to whoever is wearing it), you are more than welcome to bring your own! There are so many options when it comes to the perfect set for you, and while so many choices can seem overwhelming, that’s where I step in to help.
2. Flower Crowns
Speaking of options, flower crowns are becoming a fast-favorite in our studio; and for good reason! These floral accessories add a whimsical, romantic touch to an already gorgeous image, and they are actually really diverse! Usually used for light and airy looks, these accessories can actually double in any set or style you prefer.
3. Pearls
A beautiful, classy addition to your bridal boudoir shoot, pearls can add so much versatility to your desired wedding look. Be it simple and elegant or bold and seductive, we have an array of options when it comes to adding these gems to your session!
4. Garters and Veils
Absolute classics - Need I say more??
Both of these beautiful options absolutely work wonders for a ready-to-go bridal look. With both being wedding staples, and, even if you're not planning on wearing either for your actual special day, they work beautifully in your photoshoot!
Giving your already glamorous look that added pop of romance, these accessories are a beloved classic that can offer your session so many expanded options stylistically; with garters offering that touch of seductiveness and intimate appeal, to veils giving you that girl-next-door, innocent and airy vibe, we absolutely love both of these options when it comes to our bridal boudoir photoshoots!
4. White Robe or Button Down Shirt
One of our favorite things to do at the studio is layering. Pairing a robe or button down shirt with your lingerie is the perfect way to add that subtle sexiness to your photoshoot. We have both of these options in our client closet. You can even do a classy implied nude with this look!
And, last but certainly not least...
